Kini idi ti aja nilo aaye tirẹ?

Some owners are convinced that if they allow the dog to lie on the bed or sofa, he does not need to equip his own place. However, this is misleading. Why does a dog need its own place, even if you allow it to lie on the bed or sofa?

A dog’s well-being, physical and mental health, depends on how well its needs are met. Including freedom from discomfort. Which assumes, among other things, that the dog has its own place.

The fact is that sometimes a dog, like any of us, gets tired of communication and needs solitude and the opportunity to relax. And she can do this only if she has her own place, comfortable enough, located away from aisles, drafts and heating appliances. And if there is a guarantee that no one will disturb the dog at this place, including you and your children.

Why is a sofa not enough for a dog? If this sofa belongs only to her and no one ever sits on it again, that’s enough. But if this sofa is at least sometimes occupied by people (and the dog has to give it up), then he can never be sure that she will be able to rest, she will always expect to be disturbed. This means that he will not be able to relax and feel calm.

And this, in turn, will certainly affect the condition of the dog and can cause behavioral problems. For example, a dog becomes nervous, irritable, barks a lot, shows aggression, starts to protect a certain place or things from the owners. Although it may seem to you that these problems have nothing to do with the presence or, rather, lack of space, in fact, the connection is direct.

So, do not neglect the dog’s well-being and deny her the availability of her own comfortable and cozy place where she can relax, including from communicating with her beloved owners.
